Spanning Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia and seven US states, Hutterite colonies collectively farm roughly 6 million acres of land and operate some of the most advanced agricultural facilities on the continent.
Beyond farming, Hutterite colonies are among the largest manufacturing communities in Western Canada — producing everything from steel buildings, custom furniture and cabinetry, to precision metal fabrication, feed mills, food processing facilities and construction materials.
